Andel's hotel Prague

Located close to the Golden City centre, the ultimate four star deluxe design hotel opened its doors in June 2002. Hotel Ambassador - Zlatá Husa

Hotel was built in 1920 in the Art Nouveau style on the famous Wenceslas Square directly in the centre of Prague. The hotel consists of two parts as its name Ambassador - Zlatá Husa suggests. The history of the first one is quite straightforward while the history of the second one is a bit funny. The owner of the hotel was a rich widow, mother of extremely ugly and silly daughter. She was already in the age for marriage but despite of the fortune she had she remained single all her life. So she was known in Prague by the nickname "Golden Goose" (Zlatá Husa).
